Enthusiasm dampened by the forecast, we shall see...thought about going up to minchumina lake instead, crappy forecast up there also.NV

I flew in last night. Seven planes already there. Valdez forecast is for the area not the town, and it is seldom good despite what is really happening. This morning had broken clouds with blue sky above. It is costal weather so the cams tell a better story then the forecast.
