Howdy....................
Great video!!!!!!!! The Maule looks super. Seeing those Walleye sparks another trip to Wabakimi. We have fished that area for more than 40 years and generally return each summer for a week in the Canadian wilderness. Smoothrock is one of our favorites and the last couple of years it has been Caribou Lake. The fishing is great and the bear, moose, caribou, eagle, beaver, etc. sightings add to the enjoyment. Which lodge did you stay at? Where do you find fuel for the bird up in that country?
Jim (Another Maule owner however, without floats)

Sorry, Jim, I just found the video on youtube, I don't think the person that created it is on this site.
And, for the record, Maules look utilitarian. They do NOT look "super"!

Loved the footage looking back off the float. As a Beaver pilot.... one never gets to see that perspective. Seems like a pretty fast Maule too... or is the playback sped up !!!!
We DHC2 pilots never went very fassssst. Just reliable and slow.

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
