Reread what he said. He was suggesting another approach to allow the photographer to use the pilot window.

Yes. Sorry I wasn't more clear. Have your photographer sit immediately behind you and use the opening window on the pilot side. This worked for me on my strut-less T210. Maybe sit in the backseat of your own airplane with a camera and see if your strut is much of an impedance through the viewfinder.
