Wine Tasting at JC BCP Fly in?

OK, not sure how people will respond to this one, but anyone up for an informal wine tasting at the Johnson Creek Fly-in in June? I have reserved some of my useful load for some nice bottles - would love to share, hopefully some others might contribute?? Bring your plastic wine glass (or camp mug will work)

I really like Bordeaux style blends, so on my list:
- Justin Isosceles (Paso Robles, Central Coast, CA).
- Donati Ezio (Pacines, Central Coast, CA).
- Madrona` Reserve Quintet (Sierra Foothills, CA)

Anyone want to add to the list?

A good buddy once brought a bottle of raspberry zinfandel on a camping and caving trip. #-o We'll never let him live it down. We told him we didn't want to be quite that kind of friends. That's just not the kind of thing you bring on a boys' camping trip in WY. We drank it just to rid the camp of the disgrace.

Wish I could make it. I'd bring a few bottles of home made Chilean Merlot and a Malbec. Probably some home brew as well. Maybe next year.

Re: Wine Tasting at JC BCP Fly in?

Fellas, I'm pretty much a regular guy. I drink a little wine when my wife and I find something we like-if there isn't sticker shock involved. But wine tasting in the back country seems a little above my station in life (besides the butler can't make it  )
However; At the other end of the spectrum, I'm not much into the 'Blazing Saddles' campfire type of scene either. (Admittedly the competition with this group would be formidable  )

I think I got off track there....... you know, just a regular middle-of-the runway kinda guy.......

ANY beer is the beer of the back country!
I also won't complain if others bring wine. Low brow as I am, I would like to try Two Buck Chuck, we can't get it here, and I'm starting to think it's an urban legend.
