Wings Over the Rockies Backcountry showcase Feb 25 KAPA

Wings over the Rockies Museum will be hosting a Backcountry Aviation showcase held at their Centennial Airport (KAPA) location, February 25.
Ann Beardall, Program Director, is hoping to get as many BC type aircraft to fly in as possible. Fly in pilots will receive a voucher for breakfast.
The event is from 10 am to 2 pm and will feature a 1 hour Mountain Flying course put on by Bill Standefer of the Colorado Pilots Association. This qualifies for WINGS credit.
I will be there representing the RAF.

Re: Wings Over the Rockies Backcountry showcase Feb 25 KAPA

Ended up not being much of a back country event after all. A one hour mountain flying course and a Seaplane presentation trying to get support for water ops in Colorado.
The organizers recognized this and want help putting together a proper Back County showcase at some point in the future.
I want to thank the guys that did fly (or tried to, pretty windy) in for the event. At least the attendees had BC airplanes to look at.
