Re: Wreckage of plane found-Yosmite area

It's just that after every accident we have to hear a reporter announce that "the pilot never filed a flight plan", as if he did, this never would have happened.

I and my friends never file a flight plan! We do watch each other travel across the country on the spot.

I personally threw all my friends into emergency mode when a friend was coming back to Maryland from Washington state in an Aircam. The monitor was on and in the kitchen for all to see. He was moving 2 MPH in the thick wooded Smokey Mountains. I could have sworn he was down and on foot. Come to find out he had a serious headwind and that was his ground speed while he was airborne. Aircams don't move fast and with the right winds can move backwards!

Don't go by me! I have very little faith in government. I would very much rather no one call Uncle Sam to come look for me, just call the boys in Ohio, (Greg, John and the Boys)
