Need new wheels and brakes for my 170. Before buying the whole kit, wanted to see if someone had the parts lying around.

thanks!

I have a set of 6 bolt wheels I'd let go. I think bigrenna listed a set of brakes for sale - not sure if he still has them I got talked in to the 6-bolts by ABW and I should have ordered the 3-bolts. That should be everything you need.

I also have a compete set of single puck cleveland brakes along with the matching 3-bolt wheels that came off my 180 and were original. I'd make you a really good deal on those. They are boxed up and ready to go now.

DM me if you wanna chat about it.

Keep in mind that there are several models of 6 inch wheels from Cleveland and from Airframes. To be legal (and to ensure fit), they should be the model specified in your Type Certificate or equipment list, a PMA'd version of that, or STC'd for your make/model airplane. If it's not a type that was original equipment, you'll need an STC for installation.

So, you need to do a little research before you start buying used components, so you can be certain you're getting approved parts, and that they all play well together, as in brakes and wheels, proper offset, etc, etc.

The spruce catalog has a pretty good breakdown of which wheel / brake/ etc go with the different wheel & brake kits.
