WTB Edo 2960's on the West coast
Information and discussion about seaplanes, float planes, and water operations.
Looking for a set of 2960's in Washington, Oregon or Idaho. Some of you may have a set or know someone that does and hasn't used them in a while. Don't need to be pretty just able to float a 180.[/list]

I've got a set sitting at your airplanes old home. I haven't used them yet but I don't think I want to sell. I'm planning on flying over from ID. in late August to use them in B.C.
You might call the old NWSea though there are about 12 more sets sitting with mine that don't get used either.
If you're brining SC through on wheels look me up if you are lined up with southern Idaho on the way. I only flew that one on wheels once, when I picked it up at the paint shop.

If you're not scarin' yourself, you're not scarin' the crowd!
Talked to Shane about six weeks ago, he hadn't seen any for sale or knew of any. Kenmore had the same to say considering that they had to give away a couple pairs on ebay last year. Was planning on just running to AK on my 2960's but the ice is becoming unsafe now. Friend of mine punched through the ice with his edo's last week and it wasn't pretty so I decided to scrap that idea! If I find a set on the west coast during the next week, I'll be heading your way on wheels then up the coast to AK. SC is a new bird now. Firewall forward is 0SOH and took the bench out and installed bush seats, powder coated the frames and all new fabric. It smells and flys like a new plane. Have to meet up at some point to do some 180 flyin!

I have seen a couple sets of floats, don't know their size or make at Harvey Field in Snohomish
http://harveyfield.com/
You may want to call there and see if the front desk or service can refer you to someone.
