XM Weather/ ADB-S for Ipad

OK I'm spoiled!!
I have a mini with FF, WX and FLYQ, Also have a 696 in the panel.
Here's my dilema?? Get a ADB-S 1 works with WX and FlyQ, another works with FF
Or keep the XM ofr the 696?? $60 a month, I usually use it for 6 months at a time!
What are some thoughts, In a year I can pay for a ADB-S reciever buying the XM???!!!?!?!? #-o
Also the stratus has the Ahars in it for FF?

I know just cancelem all and look out the window, but I'm hooked, All of them have there good points!!
If FF had synthetic vision and a split screen it would be no contest!

My club has an Archer with XM on the Garmin and I have an ipad with FF and ADS-B. For areas that have coverage I see no reason to pay the XM subscription. Just make sure you have coverage in the areas you want to fly. :-)

Yes, the stratus 2 has ahrs, but I don't think FF can do anything with it yet. There's another app for it.

GT, the Garmin GDL-39 is a cool little unit, and you have the perfect setup for it with the mini and 696 (the mini is bluetooth and the 696 via cable). Not only do you/we pay for the subscription though our tax money (no monthly fee), but it has weather, ADS-B, METAR, TAF, NOTAMS, TFR's and more.

Any other GDL-39 users here?
