XXO-540 Lycomings may need home (PHNL)

There are about 20 (G)(T)(I)O-540 sitting around my friend's shop in Honolulu. Some have been parted. I am sure offers would be accepted.

The only O540s I saw were on an OU1 which was the military version of the civilian Aztec. We restored the OU1 and a farmer from Molokai has it now.

The airplane was purchased for 8K from the Navy. No logs, but flyable. It took awhile to a get an airworthiness certificate but it is legal now. Without the fuel injection the O540 is rated at 235HP @ 2650 SL.

The majority are all geared, turbo, fuel injected which I see now.

Thank you for asking.

I do not think the Queen is even out of annual like the others. Tanking should be no problem.
