Young Aussie planning an adventure trip over seas

G'day all!

I'm thinking I'd like to head somewhere next year sometime over seas for a bit of a flying/adventure/check stuff out type trip somewhere... for a couple weeks or so I suppose.

Would love to experience some mountain, backcountry type flying, maybe a bit of flying in Alaska with some locals etc... nothing really planned yet exactly, but would love to get out there and check some of the other parts of the world out and mix with aviation in the process!

Anyone have any cool suggestions on what a young guy of 21 can visit and do such things? And what time of year would be best suited for various places to visit etc... the only place I've been outside of Aus is PNG - and that was pretty epic!

Got the Aussie PPL and Sport pilots license, or Recreational pilots certificate as they call it. Only have about 300hrs in 30 odd different types, primarily tail draggers, so not the most experienced but love to learn and see new things! Should mention I'm a farm kid, and diesel fitter by trade... most of my flying has been off farm strips and properties.

Thanks!

Seven days without flying, makes one weak.

Don't rule out a couple days in the Idaho Backcountry if you can't swing Alaska.
