Does any body know if ABW is closed for the rest of the year? They say the online store is closed. Sent and e-mail and haven't heard anything back.
Was thinking about ordering my Christmas present

I also sent them an email a few weeks ago with no reply. I didn't know if that was typical or not, though.

I think since they were sold and planning on the transition over the holiday, they most likely have gone to ground until they can get the new crew up and running. But just speculation on my part.

On a personal note... I saw that earlier today as well. I had a moment of weakness and was contemplating 29"ers. The shutdown saved me some cash. Thanks ABW!

Bummer, I was craving a refill of their hot sauce.

I also sent an email a couple weeks ago trying to order some 29" Airstreaks and never heard back. Funny this thread was posted as I was about to call them and see what was going on with my order.

Bummer if this is true. I was planning on some 29s for Christmas too.

Would have been nice if they had given some heads up about the fact they were going to go dark, especially if this means we're going to pay higher shipping from Alaska once they open back up.

It's called Customer Service, and unfortunately very few companies get it right. AK Bushwheel was one of the best. Hopefully that will return once they are situated.

I just got a set of tires from these fine folks a few weeks ago.

As a point, I HATE doing this kind of business via email, folks. I much prefer making a call and talking to a person......get a cellphone, fer cryin out loud....no long distance charges.

And in my experience, ABI has always answered the phone, and has been super helpful.

Give them a call, but also understand that they are in a BIG transition as well.....cut them a little slack, folks.
