Re: Alaska to Alabama, take two

Hate to be the bearer of bad new but they are calling for severe thunderstorms tomorrow around here. Already starting to see lightning to the north.

Alaska to Alabama, take two

Yikes. Don't stray too far from the 40 mile hangar in case the hail starts.

I like that clean and simple panel.

Re: Alaska to Alabama, take two

Thanks guys! The Racer is was faster than I originally thought. Managed 140 average indicated yesterday at 2450 rpm.

I'll recap yesterday later, at my cousin's house and heading out early!

Safe travels! Weather looks better for today here now. Just some showers, no thunder storms.

Re: Alaska to Alabama, take two

Cam,

Good progress! Lots of smoke in NW and NC Montana. I'd head east in Canada, pretty much a straight line to your destination.

As Zane said, I love that panel. Really nice airplane!

Cam,

I just noticed that your inReach is sending an updated position every two minutes. What plan are you on?

Call customer service and ask about their "Enterprise Plans". These plans sell you bits and bytes of data. They allow you to set the tracking intervals at anywhere from two minutes to ten or maybe more.

And, overall, they're cheaper. I could never find them on their website list of plans. They're specific to aviation apparently.
