Good news indeed but shame it's not airworthy. I'm always at two minds with museum aircraft; whilst it's nice to have something for people to look at, it's always a little sad to know it will never take to skies again..

This Catalina overnighted at my home airport last month. To say it is a nice bird is a massive understatement. They certainly are big! Unfortunately I got a new phone since then so the photos I took are at home. ( I'm in Canada at the moment )

I know the fellow who heads this operation and the museum (anyone coming down under, I STRONGLY recommend a trip out there!)
Maybe I may be able to take a flight out there and grab you guys some photos!
