AV 30 E wiring question for you that have installed one. When wiring in a OAT Probe and a Audio cable into the serial plug how is it done? Is it a crimp or solder connection?

Late to the thread but Uavionix have been very good to me helping with an echo UAT and AV30 install in the RV4. I haven’t had any issues yet with either and no amount of aerobatics has thrown the artificial horizon off.

The only thing that has needed adjusting was the ASI after about 50 hours on the install. For some reason the ASI on the AV30 started disagreeing with the asi on the GRT but both manifolded to the same pitot and static sources. Using a manometer we had to adjust the AV30 ASI (GRT was still accurate); the readings seem stable now.

But as to the original question, they are fantastic with their product support in my experience.
