Belly panel directly behind the firewall is definitely going to need replaced... A whole line of rivits are pulled... There is a tear in the firewall near the gascolator, can't tell how far up it goes but it may be a matter of patching at least the lower portion... Upper nose gear casting is gone, needs a new one if kept as a tri-gear... I am sure there is some hidden damage also... But, from what little I seen in the pics, it can be fixed...

Even if it was a total loss..... you can't keep a good data plate down!

I would really be interested in see pics of the damage. I've often wondered what if anything could be done (legally or not) to strengthen them up. At 11k, I should just buy it for parts :-)
