Need some assistance and guidance… my 182 is going to be down for several months to get all new avionics. During this time, I’d like to send my seats off to have them Redon, currently they’re like sitting on a stack of bricks. I’ve heard people mention a few places:

I live in Northern Idaho and my plane will be down in Sisters, Oregon to have the new Dynon system installed. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I just used the Oregon Aero cushion seat. back, and lumbar that set on top the cheap Cessna seat. It was very comfortable on my overstressed back. The straps kept it in place. One is in every auto I drive now, but comes out when I fly with someone and it goes into the airplane.

Aircraft Sport Seats are great value and very easy to install, you will be very happy.

+ 1 Sports Aircraft seats, great quality, you dont need to send your seats, they will make them for you and you can install them yourself.

Another vote for Sport Aircraft Seats - I ordered seats (after clicking on one of their ads here ) and because of a missed detail on my seats that were missed on my side, the seat backs were not the right size. Daniel was great to work with, he ended up making new seat backs at no additional cost (They are custom leather so its unlikely he can reuse the ones he made that did not fit). The seats are high quality, owner is a stand up guy, and I get to support a small aviation businesses - that is a winner in my book.

I put Sport Aircraft Seats in my 182P. High quality and easy install if you have a little bit of skill.

He has a neat system for how he does the seats, and the quality is high.

Thank you everyone - I will connect with them to discuss. How do the do the support, lumbar, cushion etc. I have nice leather seats now, just no support and that’s what I’m ultimately looking for. I would assume sport aircraft ships that along with the material; just want to verify?
