Dedus, Welcome to the BCP forum. We don't mind female pilots one bit. I hope you plan on joining us full time. I sent a PM on some information I thought you might like. Skybobb--- Bob

O yeah, this strip is "our" own. My hubby is also a pilot and we fly every chance we get. He is in the process of restoring a J5 that was given to him by his father before he passed. Hope to see it fly this year.

hey, wait just a cotton pickin' minute... says who?? I may not be a great seasoned and salty ol' pilot, but I pretty near approach a great cook (using plenty of seasoning and salt of course). And I love doing both which I guess makes me a perfect woman(?)... and Hammer a lucky man(!)

Just kidding about the cooking part. I been trying to get my wife to fly places with me and just when I get her to start feeling comfortable with it i GO ANd ground loop with her in the plane....Just my luck. Having a strip on my own land would be ideal also save us 325 a month in hangar rent.

Yeppers. It is a Zenith 801. Just go to any dictionary and look up aerodynamic drag, there will be a color pic of an 801..

Well, you know, when you use bright colors like that you have to auto subtract 20kts from the speed!
Seriously though, it looks like you did a great build job!
