CubCrafters has become an official sponsor of BCP
A general forum for anything related to flying the backcountry. Please check first if your new topic fits better into a more specific forum before posting.
CC has very insightful marketing. Lighten the plane, lighten the engine, produce a 180 hp hot rod for both high hour commercial pilots that want a plane they can fly into their twilight years without the worry of a flunked medical, and the Sport Pilot.

Good on CubCrafters for deciding to sponsor this excellent website and forum.
I hope it pays dividends for all involved.

Wow this is great news. I have been working with them a little over a year now distributing my camera mount through them and can say they are a great group of people to work with. Im very thankful they took a chance on me and my design. I just wish the Carbon Cub was within my reach, but alas it seems the J3 is more in my budget...
Its great knowing this forum has support from an outfit as top notch as CubCrafters..
All the best,
Marc

Thank you for the kind words everyone, and I'm sorry for my late post.
As Brad wrote earlier, CubCrafters' extends our sincere gratitude to the backcounty flying community. We'll continue to support you as you've supported us.
From the beginning, we've been impressed with Zane's vision of a communication hub for all of us! The Kid's doing a fantastic job and we're happy to chip in as a commercial sponsor. In the meanwhile, we'll keep working to build better airplanes, and a better airplane company.
Thanks again!

Good on ya Cub Crafters! It is gratifying to see the success of an aircraft company that is committed to continued innovation and product improvement. I fly a Maule and I like the plane (the 4 seats & useful load were necessary when I had kids going to and from college) but I've been frustrated with the lack of innovation at the factory and the poor marketing and availability of the few improvements that do come along. A really nice new door closure mechanism was developed at the factory and I ordered one, but 9 months later I still didn't have the parts. I cancelled my order and I'm living with the crappy original closure that no longer locks on the pilot's side. The little things do add up, and it seems Cub Crafters are paying as much attention to the little things as they are to the big ones.
It is also a pleasure to have a successful aircraft company associate itself with this forum where the passionate disciples of backcountry flying congregate. Hopefully the marriage will be fruitful and long lasting.

I think secretly deep down inside, there is not a soul on this website, regardless of what you fly or own, who would not love to have a CC.
Gosh...I'll take two.

One's good for me. They're some beautiful planes and seem to be terrific performers. I was impressed with their performance at the ok18 fly-in a couple years ago.
