Does anyone within the community have experience with the Rotec TBI fuel system, extra points if it's the one for the 0-360.

Does anyone within the community have experience with the Rotec TBI fuel system, extra points for Lycoming 0-360 specific intel

I had one on a Rotec 9 cylinder radial. I sold the project about the time it was ready for a DAR.

In dealing with Rotec on the engine and some related parts, I’d say I was grossly unimpressed. I think I probably saved my life by not finishing the project.

You probably know, but it is NOT fuel injection. It has a Venturi with a “spray bar” in it. Vacuum through the Venturi sucks furl from the spray bar. It’s quite simple, and may work, but the more I worked with Rotec, the less confidence I had in their products.

As you point out it's not an injection system, it's very simple in design which is a large part of the appeal for me. I had a couple of occasions to chat with Rotec but the questions where were generic in nature not about product support so I will take that into consideration. The model recommended for the 0-360 does not required power to operated, that's also part of the appeal but apparently will output fuel flow by some means.
