Deja Vu, Alaska....the film

Stayed up late with coffee in hand to adapt the TR to an article: https://backcountrypilot.org/features/c ... -vu-alaska

But I am mainly breathing a sigh of relief that I've finished the film. Much of it was edited with a baby in my lap over the last half year. If you can, grab a beer and maybe some gouda or havarti, cast it to your TV, crank up the volume and the bass!

That's a brilliant story. I'm glad you have finally had a chance to get in front of the editor again!

Nice work on the footy, it was a fantastic time!

I didn't know this until this trip, but Zane actually had an early career in the movie industry. He did the voice over for the opening monologue in Apocolypse Now.

Sorry it didn't work out for you back then, I think you are more than making up for it now!

LOL....

"Anchorage.... SHIT. I'm still only in Anchorage."

I was thinking of maybe trying to monetize with a 900 number...talk about bush planes into the wee hours?

I know, I sound like a goofball perv. My favorite part of the film was Bigrenna spoofing me.

I also got a kick out of the M*A*S*H theme song.

Re: Deja Vu, Alaska....the film

That was amazing. You've been teasing us about this project for a long time (forever) and the wait has surely paid off.

Now we need to get you started on the next film. Texas and Minnesota are already covered. Hmm...

Re: Deja Vu, Alaska....the film

Watched that earlier this morning. Great job Zane. Really makes me think I need to get my 206 running so I can cruise up there and see it for myself...
Thank for all the hard work!

I'll add Rohn to my list, right after Cordova and Kennecott. After this week, no cell signal sounds nice.

Good reminder of days to come! Timing is right for a countdown to the trade show...

Great video Zane, liked the nod to the Mash theme as well. Kudos,

I put it on the big screen like you said. Really fun to watch and beautiful scenery. Thanks for doing it—I know it’s a ton of work.

Super!!! The Paullina runway looks a little like that rock one and I can pretend there are mountains around. Actually have been in some interesting places in Idaho but it's been awhile.

Re: Deja Vu, Alaska....the film

There are so many great parts of this film.

But....

“We still have no idea what he was talking about” is my absolute favorite.

I’m still laughing about this one. Hilarious.

Fantastic production Zane.

Thanks all. Looking forward to making more later this year. The support of sponsors and community supporters makes it possible.

Happy Easter Sunday! I hope you get to go flying wherever you are.

Squash...I'm glad you liked that part. I still LOL too.

I have never seen so pretty a group of Bush Pilots/Planes, except for that rag-a-muffin of L.L.'s. You must keep him around for the ambiance.
