Duxford 2014

A friend sent this link to me - it's an ad for the Duxford air show in England.... just awesome. The last time I visited Duxford was in 1986, and it still ranks as one of the best air museums I've ever been to, hands-down. I really need to get back there!

Absolutely outstanding!!!
If that doesn't get the blood pumping then you're dead!
Thanks for adding one more thing to my bucket list

Yeah, but the food in England is bad....
Gotta do something to excuse not going....a fantastic museum indeed.
A sleeper museum if you're in London is the Battle of Britain Museum, on the outskirts of London. The Tube goes to a station within a few blocks.
It was one of the closest fighter bases to London during the blitz. No longer an airport, but fantastic displays, and beautifully restored aircraft, every one of which actually flew in the Battle of Britain.
I would LOVE to get to Duxford, though.....

I just happened to be in London about 7 or 8 years ago and made it out to Duxford for the show. Outstanding, and a great excuse to tell the wife it's about time to take that European vacation she's always wanted.
