Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

180driver, how do you like using the 70? I had the exact same idea, so I am curious how it is working out. I have a street legal XL75 that is a little taller and harder to get in and out, but pleasant to drive. The 70 seemed like a good option. Those things aren't light though! Little Tanks! Image

Re: Fall at Castle Lakes, CO - with friends.

The little Honda trail 70 weighs in around 125 pounds. The handlebars fold down which makes it easier to load. With my rear seats out and front seats slid all the way forward, I can load it though the passenger door by myself. I lift the rear in first and set the engine cradle on the door frame, then get in the plane from the other side and wrestle it in and tie it down from there. I have an 88cc big bore kit on mine, its no speed demon, but will putt you into town at 35 mph, and it is street legal.

If you look online, some people are doing some crazy mods to these little bikes...

Maybe a good tinkering project this winter... but then I have a problem with collecting too many motorcycles!
