I have these semi vintage (sc2)Feds.... they look fairly stout. Are they worth hanging on to?

They turn really nice because they are short.

I think they'd be great on my 150/150 td. The challenge would be finding the documentation.... or a field approval.... or put them on an experimental. Or just sell, and not stress.

What skis are approved on your C150?
I think Mike Sibley & his gang up in Kenai run skis on their C150TD's,
but not sure what models.

They are pretty cool looking.
The aero museum where I volunteer has an old set of big old skis,
I don't know what model they are or what they're from but they do look awesome.

Re: Federal sc2... go or no go?

The thought had crossed my mind... disassemble clean polish, pant and hang. The bride would be cool with that. As far as I know these came along way before my 62 150. Bottom line is I'm 95% sure I'd have to get a field approval, and I'm not totally sure I want to go barking up that tree(even though they're here to help). They aren't happy till I'm not happy right? 8) I have paper for them on a -12, but I really dont want to wait around for a 12 build to use them. If I can't find find a way to put them to use on the 150, I'll probably letemgo.
