yeah a good one... I take it this was Oahu...lots of sugar cane....see ya at 10 Ted looks like a good day to sail .....

Unless things have chaged since I lived on Oahu, there isn't much if any sugar cane still harvested there. When I was there in the very early 90's there was a lot of it on the island. When I lived there from 2003-2008 it had been replaced by pineapple. Even that was being downsized and used only for the tourist consumption at the DOle Plantation tourist stop.

Some of the views do look like Oahu, actually some of it looks like Barber's Point but I am not sure. I can't remember seeing any of those Champs while I was there but then there were a lot of projects in the works. Winter is coming....wish I were headed back.

spent the morning with 8GCBC on his boat off waikiki he seemed to think it was Maui....(See "where did you not fly today"...)
