Maule M4, looking for advice

I'm looking at a ramp mummy M4 220, as many know I'm well versed on the Franklin 220, however, I know almost nothing about the Maule, The aircraft has been sitting out side in a semi dry environment and has deteriorated to the point that the fabric is coming apart in many places and the windows will all have to be replaced, What points should I look at in the structure, are there known to have corrosion or common damage points? Any constructive advice is welcome, OH,,,what the hell, even if it's not constructive.

Hi Joe: Jeremy will probably jump in here. If you have to recover it, replacing a few tubes in no big deal. I would look back by the tail wheel and all the lower tubes. I sure missed coming down your way this year. I might make it down in April. Tell Rick I said hi.

Cheers...Rob

If you buy it, take a serious look at the Stewart Systems fabric system. Seems to be getting popular, quality seems great so far, less expensive, less weight, no solvents, etc.

Look at the longerons below the battery box, and the cluster right behind the pilots door,
Does it have the big door?
Have fun, the best Hot Rod that Maule built!!
Keep it light and loose all the insulation and excess stuff.

I wrote a long reply but it got kicked out somehow. I've had that trouble posting here before, not sure why. Maybe too slow at typing.
Basically its a very simple airplane, so inspect EVERYthing. The tubes if any rust are easy to fix because you'll have all fabric off.
The wings are all aluminium so check wing root leading edge for mouse nest signs. The pee can eat a spar.
