Re: Need Advice Flying PA11 from WA to FL Next Couple weeks

Hello All, I want to thank everyone who helped me make this successful trip, whether it was advice, physical assistance, or simply checking on me to ensure all was well, thx! Trip was awesome, it was challenging but that's what made it exciting. I think the route I took was the best route and afforded me the opportunity to keep moving. The fastest I could have made it was 6-7 days and that would really be humping it. There was only one day that I couldn't make progress, 2 days I went less than 100miles the rest I made some good mileage.

Tedd

Glad you made it within your allotted time. Good Job!

This question comes up fairly often, as to route and problems encountered. I think in the two months, I've seen at least three similar queries - last year similar questions. When you get settled or have time, I think a trip log would be very helpful to others that consider a long excursion like this, with the problems and time involved. I've sent the link of Paul's adventure on the SuperCub site to a number of people and they have found it helpful and thought provoking. We could just use more actual experiences like that to help us decide on our own plan of attack.

Congratulations on a job well done.

Jack, great point. I have a ton of notes from the trip if anyone needs them now. I will try to fashion them in some coherent form and post them in the event someone else might gain from the knowledge.
