Yeah, that was a good selection. The lyrics are:

el viento viene
el viento se va
por la frontera
el viento viene
el viento se va
el hambre viene
el hombre se va
sin mas razon
el hambre viene
el hombre se va
ruta babylon
por la carretera
por la carretera
la suerte viene
la suerte se va
por la frontera
la suerte viene
la suerte se va
el hambre viene
el hombre se va
sin mas razon
el hambre viene
el hombre se va
cuando volvera
por la carretera
por la carretera
por la carretera

The wind comes
The wind goes
Across the frontier
The wind comes
The wind goes
Hunger comes
The man he goes
with no other reason
Hunger comes
The man, he goes
the road to Babylon
Along the highway
Along the highway
Good fortune comes
Good fortune goes
Across the frontier
Good fortune comes
Good fortune goes
The hunger comes
The man, he goes
with no other reason
Hunger comes
The man, he goes
When will he return
Along the highway
Along the highway

Re: new landing site and first attempt at narration

This thread pushes a lot of buttons for me. I've watched most of Tyler's videos and have been impressed that a low hour pilot worked so hard to get truly dialed into his aircraft. My best friend lives in Corvallis and Tyler had offered to give both of us rides (one at a time of course) the next time I was up there. I never did get to meet him in person but from reading other's posts about him, he was a fun and full of life type of guy. He has left an impression on me as I enter my retirement years. In April I'll be moving to my new place at 1st Aero Squadron Air Park in Columbus, NM ( https://www.backcountrypilot.org/forum/ ... heap-18739 ) and searching for a Savannah to buy. That young man had a influence on me, and I never had the pleasure to meet him in person. The hang gliding video brought back fond memories because as it stands now I have 20X more time in hang gliders, but living at an air park my hopes are I'll turn that ratio around. I so look forward to meeting the good folks here at the fly-ins in the future.

This picture of me is so old it predates Tyler's birth by 5 years, but it would have been my honor to have that young pup teach this old dog some new tricks. RIP Tyler.
