Re: new shoes

Paco! Plane looks awesome. You headed to JC with us in June?

BTW, how do you like the plane compared to the CC?

Re: new shoes

All this talk about new shoes must have triggered something in my subconscious . Had a dream last night that I ordered some 31s. Delivered the day I left for JC so I just threw the box in the plane and figured I'd put them one once I got there. Once at JC a crowd gathered around as I opened the box, no one had seen 31s on a Luscombe before. Inside a find two baby bush wheels and a note from WUP that said "Here are the tires you SHOULD have ordered"

I must be suffering for tire envy...

new shoes

I talked to Wup today about a pair of 31s I think I'll get a pair before JC. Just use them for Idaho then run the 29 Air Hawks the rest of the time.

Good thing you have a Maule, otherwise you'd have needed a trailer.

Re: new shoes

Yes 35s will fit inside a M7, don't even have to let the air out.

Left Joseph and tried to get to BC area the clouds had a different idea. So I went by Memaloose and it looked landable. I drug it once, it felt good so I put it down.

6500MSL, 15MPH tailwind take, off 4" slush, uggg, thank goodness for 235 ponies under the hood.

There sure is a lot of difference from 29 to 35

Re: new shoes

Got the 35s on today. You can't make a bad landing with these tires. Drop it from 3' and nothing but feather soft. The difference between the 29 airhawks and 35s is like effing
Rosie O Donnell or Natalie Gulbis. Natalie would be the 35s Image

Re: new shoes

I'm amazed at the size difference between the 29s and 35s. I wonder what the real size of the two are? And what about the Airstreaks - is the 29s the same size as the 29 Bushwheels?

Anyway, 35s looks awesome.
