When I first got my plane, about 7 years ago, someone told me: "If you're using the brakes on landing (roll-out), you're doing something wrong." I practice my landings so that the plane rolls a bit, then stops due to friction and lack of forward momentum. I only use my brakes when taxiing, doing the run-up, and stopping at the hold line, so I don't have a lot of experience with them. :roll: I've been losing fluid, though, and don't know where it's going. That's why I ordered the brake boosters - I heard they help a lot with that.

BTW, I've got 8.50 x 6 tires and Cleveland brakes.
