Propellor Info Needed

I am getting ready to purchase a Zenith CH750 STOL... Currently it has a Culver wood prop on it that works with O 235-L2C engine.

I am thinking to replace it with a 2 or 3 bladed composite prop but I can't seem to find any price on any propellor. Is this a secret info that nobody openly advertise or am I doing something wrong?

For example when I tried to find the price for AP433CT-WWR63U all I get ton of website verbiage ending with if you want one of these then "contact us".... I need to find the info tonight if possible.
Any help please?

Re: Propellor Info Needed

Gene Smith, a fellow crop duster here, got the duplicator from Culver and made props in Houston, Missouri. His daughter took over the business. She places any prop in the jig and round it goes to cut an identical prop from wood. She can make or find you what you want. The guys at Mexico Missouri that manufacture the kits for Zenith airplanes are very helpful as well. Call Sebastian. We crop dusters liked wood props because engines in ground loops training or in crashes could be dialed and reused with another wood prop. The prop goes away in the crash, which is good.

Re: Propellor Info Needed

The short high lift wing on the CH-750 is like the short high lift wing on the Cherokee. Both are fine for STOL because the power pitch deceleration to touchdown with power keeps blasting extra relative wind from the prop over a high percentage of the wing. When we slow down on short final, however, they will sink like a rock without power. Slow down to get the sink and then use the very effective glide angle and rate of descent control, the throttle, to put it on the numbers slowly and softly every time.

Re: Propellor Info Needed

I'll counter A1Skinner with a Catto shout out but you will find out as I did that they have a "deep" order. Their projected deliver time for a new prop is late August or early September.

Re: Propellor Info Needed

I would go with the sensenich stol ground adjust. Way easier to set pitch than the others props that use a protractor.

I only threw that out as it has the price listed right there which is what he was looking for. Catto makes a great prop as well!

I think both are very good options, I just had previous experience with the Catto so went that route.
