S-12Flyer Thanks for the explanation. The challenger is a pretty cheap way to fly, and I guess I get what I pay for. I've though about trying to redesign the ailerons to improve the roll, but by the time I got done sketching out what I wanted to do I'd be building an entire new wing. Decided to just leave it as is, and spend my time working on my Patrol instead.

awesome video. it would appear that wayne fisher was a well-liked and highly respected aviator. he shure danced a helluva a 2-step with that drifter.

he certainly was mate, and a particularly close friend and mentor of mine. he was the first registered ultralight instructor in Australia. and was best known as mr drifter as he was the heart and sole of the drifter/rag and tube flying industry over here. Bit of a celebrity really. he tragically died last year when test flying a rans rv 12. Aircrafts first flight and something went wrong with either the elevator or trim taking the plane vertical in the air to 300 feet where it rolled over and came straight back down.
