Ski spring length

I’m installing some Aero 2800 wheel skis on my experimental plane and was wondering if anybody that’s using Aero Ski steel springs could help me out with the stretched length. For guidance I do have AC43 and the AC for ski installations but if I could get a length from someone it’ll save me from wrestling with a spring and spring scale.

I have come to the conclusion that it was easier to do a one off float installation than a one off wheel ski installation.

Thanks

If you don’t already have them, I hope the instructions from Aeroski help. I really want to put my BH on skis so I hope you report back how they perform.

I got them, thanks. They list everything except what I need. I’ll just call Aero Ski and see what dimension they use on Maules.

I think you’re going to have to be more specific about what youre needing. Specifically what dimension you need. Presumably Aero Ski can help.
