Anybody in Socal doing anything this weekend? I am doing an Angel flight to KSBD on Saturday morning and am hoping to hang out somehow till monday so I can meet up with a friend and go to Disneyland then fly him back to Norcal (he's dropping his car off at his brothers). So anyone let me know!

You’re always welcome at Kern Valley "L05". This is Whisky Flat weekend too. It’s our annual celebration of being an old west mining town and the place is full of things to do and see.

If you want drop into KRIR tomorrow and you can go to Aircraft Spruce and deliver a picture of Johnson Creek that everybody signed last June. Matt emailed it to me I printed it out and have been delinquent in my duties to take it over there. They have a wall of pictures given to them by people and groups like ours that they (AS) have sponsored over the years. Last year before the BCP flyin I was able to acquire sponsorship from Aircraft Spruce (and others) for the raffle and want to let them know we appreciated their donation.

Hey Bryan: the restaurants at Big Bear, Kern Valley, Hemet/Ryan are my favorites. Mojave, Chiriaco Summit L77 are good too.
Cheers...Rob
