Sometimes, Two Horsepower is All You Need

Minam and Red's are two of the most precious gems in Oregon, though they're in quite the hole. My first time in there I didn't really have any guidance, I just knew that they were there. Landed Minam, had some coffee and a whiz, then took off to the south and got to about 50 feet and pulled the throttle back to land at Red's. Taxied down, turned around, and took off north. It seemed to make sense to double the effective runway length, though my memory doesn't serve me very well as to what obstacle separates the two and how obstructive it might be.

I noticed on the sectional they've changed the name from "Red's Horse Ranch" to "Red's Wallowa."
