SQ2'n to Alaska

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Re: SQ2'n to Alaska

Great that you made it Phil. Thanks for all the pictures. Was great to follow along.
Good thing you made it through when you did, since 5am this morning we've had 8/10ths of rain and the a bunch of snow!

Haha. I meant 8/10ths of an inch. So not too light. The conditions now are like a light blizzard though...

Wow, that was a flight =D> . I thought my 28 hour flight from Bridgeport, Tx to White Mountain, AK was a long one, but you definitely have me beat. You have inspired me, I need to be better about taking pictures and sharing them instead of selfishly keeping the view all to myself in my head 8) .

I thought that was your place I flew over when I was up in March, very nice. Getting things organized now and planning to head up next Friday. Hoping for good weather [-o< [-o< [-o<

Glad you had a great trip and made it safe.

Re: SQ2'n to Alaska

Chris (AK_Logan), drop in any time. But before the BBQ comes spiking the Kenai Peninsula economy with all the stuff I have to buy for the new place. It’s already begun. ;-)

David, wow, the weather around there just gets crazier. ;-)

Chris (slowhawk), stuff stays in your head? Pretty sure my hard drive needs to be defragged, seems like these days if somethings goes in something else falls out. :-) Have a safe, uneventful flight and take and post pictures.

Good job getting er done and safely, Phil! With a short break for the chiropractor, you should be out exploring Alaska soon. Congratulations on a trip well documented.

If you see my white truck and the SQ2 I'm home, drop in if you got the time. That goes for everyone.

Thanks Mike. One of the best parts of the trip was seeing friends and making new ones.

I just binge read all 11 pages to get caught up. Glad things went well and thanks for sharing. I'm bummed about not making it up there this year but hope to take you up on your invite to visit next summer.

Ha ha ha. Actually I'm doing my edits from my laptop, putting in photo locations to begin with. Someday I'll figure out this whole computer Internet thing...maybe.
