I dunno man. I'd have to say you're "getting by" on that awesome paint/polish scheme. I had a female pilot send me this:

Re: Strait Tail 182's

Ha ha. I dunno about that! My AME has a client with a fancy modded out 175 converted to tailwheel, beautiful plane. Like clockwork about every three years back it comes for a wing tip and stabilizer rebuild due to ground loops.

I like only having to cancel flights due to cloud deck and visibility, not crosswinds.

Ever seen a website called LadiesLoveTrikes.com? Me neither

All joking aside though, yours and corefile's 50/50 paint/polish jobs look AMAZING 8) I'd probably have to paint the wings silver, because I don't think I could keep up the polish on the entire plane =D>

Re: Strait Tail 182's

Anyone want to send those two posters to their local F-104 or SR-71 pilot? Maybe an old retired F-4 or F-105 Wild Weasel?

I love tailwheels too, but I'm just sayin...

In my opinion, I'd say her glory days are the ones we're in, not the old ones. At least in terms of paint schemes...

This is my wife's 1957 model....

An awesome performing airplane. It out performs my C120 in several areas and a whole lot cheaper to insure.

Looks nice! Desser 8.50's on the mains? I think that's a good choice.

Yeah the smooth 8.50. That's the second plane I put them on, so far so good. They are only a pound or two heavier than the 6.00x6
