I dunno man. I'd have to say you're "getting by" on that awesome paint/polish scheme. I had a female pilot send me this:

Ha ha. I dunno about that! My AME has a client with a fancy modded out 175 converted to tailwheel, beautiful plane. Like clockwork about every three years back it comes for a wing tip and stabilizer rebuild due to ground loops.
I like only having to cancel flights due to cloud deck and visibility, not crosswinds.

I was waiting for someone to post this. LOL.
Good thing for me I started with the tailwheel airplane first I guess!

Ever seen a website called LadiesLoveTrikes.com? Me neither
All joking aside though, yours and corefile's 50/50 paint/polish jobs look AMAZING

I'd probably have to paint the wings silver, because I don't think I could keep up the polish on the entire plane

Anyone want to send those two posters to their local F-104 or SR-71 pilot? Maybe an old retired F-4 or F-105 Wild Weasel?
I love tailwheels too, but I'm just sayin...

This is my wife's 1957 model....

An awesome performing airplane. It out performs my C120 in several areas and a whole lot cheaper to insure.

Looks nice! Desser 8.50's on the mains? I think that's a good choice.

Yeah the smooth 8.50. That's the second plane I put them on, so far so good. They are only a pound or two heavier than the 6.00x6
