An off-roading friend of mine sent me this link several months ago. I spent many evenings reading the bulk of his website. Great story about the A-12 but there is much more to explore.

Death Valley!
Well I've been going to Death Valley coming on six years. The vastness is wonderful. I haven't flown there yet but plan to. So much to see and do there. Just do your homework regarding how and where you plan to go and which way you plan to do it-air/land. I have a small library of books about the area.

Look up the Albatross crash on Towne Pass. That is a great story too! All crew members made it out alive.

Great reads! I just spent the majority of the day in the office going through his site. one of those things I just couldn't stop reading. Thanks for posting the link!
