To Oregon: A Film About Friendship and Shared Passion

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

There are some amazing story tellers on this site. Weird how that ended up happening. A+ Evan. Thanks for putting it together.

Re: To Oregon: A Film About Friendship and Shared Passion

I've watched this vid about six times over the last couple days on a computer with a broken left speaker. Enjoyed it immensely, respected the hell out of all that went into it, thought the start of the narration was a little oddly timed and abrupt (I was hearing only the music until the narration goes mono in Z's garage). I just now watched it on a computer with both speakers working. Wow. Just Wow.

It's a unique thing we have here, some guys and gals you know, lots you dont know, and a handful you feel like you know from having watched their videos or pictures or the conversations they've participated in on the forum. Thanks, Evan for putting what all that is into this form.

I never met Either Tom or Tyler save for exchanging a few comments on BCP but the kinship that's bred here is undeniable.

Great video. I never got a chance to meet Tom and that's a shame. I'm fortunate I had a chance to fly with Tyler a few times.

Re: To Oregon: A Film About Friendship and Shared Passion

Great Video Evan.

Funny how life is. There was no conscious decision on my part, but I just realized that since the accident in Oct, I haven't flown but a couple of hours, really haven't had any interest.

Last night, the approach thread caught my attention, and awakened a memory of an approach/landing I made last year......in the same general area that I had done some flying with Tom and Tyler in.

I went searching through my video and found the footage of the approach, and of course came across other footage of flying with Tom and Tyler that I hadn't had the desire to watch again until now.

Anyway, not sure what I am trying to say, but it is good to be coming to terms with the loss of friends and finally is starting to feel good to reflect on times spent with them and footage embracing what they were passionate about.
