Truckee New Years Even Fly-Out Pics (& Video)
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!
Cool! I never made the connection until I saw the plane. I use to fly all over the place with Mike's dad Jerry. Good people those Hansens.

Awesome pics Jeremy!
Threw together a short video last night. I have come to the conclusion that putting my camera where I do (under the wing, at the rear lift strut attachment) kind of confused the camera over brightness and white balance. Reflections from fuse, shadows of the wing, etc.
We need to also bring a laptop along so we can transfer each others vid onto each others SD cards so when we edit videos we can get more than just our own plane shots in.
Not happy with the music editing, but here you go:

Nice video Emmet! I think the video trading idea is a good idea too. I got some good stuff I can put on a thumb drive for you if you want.

Nice nice work!
You guys need to save the footage and make certain we exchange it. Greg (our camera man) has some really great stuff. Will be great to add what he has from the ground to the "in the plane" shot. I have a computer in my hanger that we can easily exchange this stuff.
You guys want to fly next weekend? The movie making will continue...

Sounds tempting, might be able to make it up again.

The suffering is worth it for video's like that. Great.
Did the para plane drop from the Maule or did you ground tow him?
If you need to wait till the pain subsides to answer that's ok.

Lynn Sanderson (Dirtstrip) passed away from natural causes in May 2013. He was a great contributor and will be missed dearly.
Thanks Emmmet!
I'm on board for swapping vids...although I got a LOT of Jello this trip. I'm going to try re-positioning my mount slightly and shoot at 720p/60fps vs. 1080p/30fps.
As for this weekend...afraid I'll have to sit this one out. School starts back up on Thurs and CINC-House has plans for us this weekend.

Awesome video and pictures guys, keep up the good work! I know it can be a lot of effort to put that stuff together but it's certainly appreciated.

Awesome pics. I would like to see more prop blur in a few.
The video is like aviation porn! Damn I wish I could afford an airplane.

Love the wild horses charging across the scene in one low pass. Very cool editing....

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
