The "beauty" of using mogas in a Rotax, is that it PREFERS it, though with more frequent oil changes it can tolerate it. So... I can save a boatload of money (not to mention a lot of the places I refuel have no Av Gas), while also doing right by my motor, and it's reduction system/gearbox. I see lots of YouTube videos that start with Rotax fliers fueling up with AvGas, more power to them, but no thanks. I guess maybe they (TRENT PALMER....) are at a field where hauling mogas out to your plane is frowned upon or prohibited, that'd be the only reason I'd use the stuff, and I'd quickly find another airport to base out of, but that's me.
I buy 270 gallons at a time, and trust in the station fuel pumps to deliver usable fuel, they do for all my vehicles, always have, as long as I've been driving, 50+ years. When I gravity flow it into my bulk tank outside the hangar, I don't filter it again, but I do have a filter on my bulk tank pump. That load of fuel pictured cost me $2.12 a gallon, is that less then AvGas ?:P
