I run an FBO (some say into the ground), but I can't afford a plane yet :( , so that's not much help.

If anyone's ever in the Wilmington, OH area, stop by I66 to say hi. Free popcorn!

What's your day job?

Sell gambling equipment during the winter. Air Taxi and tours on floats during the summer. Got a chance to get the Alaska bug out of me last summer, although I think it's still their. In the process of starting my own 135, if the Feds ever get the finger out of their ass!

Good luck, when that does happen or should I say "if" that does happen I would be interested to know how the process went. Are you looking a single plane/pilot operation?

Thanks, Bub

US Fish & Wildlife Service in Southern Oregon. I grew up in southern Calif. and in the 60's wasn't that bad...yet. Worked for aerospace down there and still couldn't afford much.

It wasn't until I finally gave up a lot to have more. Taking a large cut in pay and moving to Oregon I realized I could afford more with less money and have a much better quality of life. Of course it's seems to be getting crowded everywhere now, even Oregon has changed a lot since I moved here 20 plus years ago.

It's scarey to uproot and leave the security of what you know. I can only recommend researching and planning before you make a life changing move. Looking back I've sometimes gone without some luxuries, but have always had a roof over my head and never gone hungry and truly feel I have been blessed and watched over my entire life.

Oh Ya, I'm now starting to get sicken tired of the ****** snow. I've lot sight of the hot tub a few days ago and the trail out to the garage and wood pile are starting to remind me of the WWI trenches you see in the old movies.

Someone told me that lawyers are living proof that anal sex CAN result in pregnancy. Not saying I believe it, like I said, someone else told me that.

Probably about an hour to an hour and a half flight from Cleveland. We're about 35 miles north of Cincinnati.

Yup, single plane single pilot for now, planning on an expansion within a few years if everything goes well. Feds in Maine have been very nice and easy to work with, just slow.

I WISH!!!! :( I saw the Kodiak at Oshkosh a few years ago and was very impressed. If I could afford one, I place an order in a heart beat. That airplane will take you anywhere a Maul or Supercub will, but with about five times the useful load. On top of the quality of the aircraft, the strong business plan has already made it more successful than any other modern start up. Only a few years in development, no financial trouble, assembly line in full swing, and the first aircraft delivered last week. A true success story!

Unfortunately, I don't have a connection to such a great company. Maybe someday!

Just drop me a line if you think you'll be in the neighborhood, I'll make sure I'm in. Everyone's more than welcome to visit!
