In 2001 I bought a 206 fork that that had the wheel and a 700x6 installed. Forgot what make a ply rating it had but there was just enough sidewall clearance to slide a piece of bologna between the tire sidewall and the fork. I have been told that some makes of tire and/or ply rating is wider than others. You better make dang sure you get it right.
I still think that a 600x6 in front and 700x6 on the mains with good piloting is plenty good. I have flown with you and you do a good job.
Larger tires will give more flotation and that would be better in sand or mud
