That’s a brave man right there  I was cringing the whole time waiting for the plane to fall off the jack!

Entertain a newbie question on ski-flying please. What happened here?
Has someone landed on the ice and then couldn't get moving again?

Looks like he was just switching back to wheels at the end of the ski season.

Getting the axle end through the outboard wheel bearing can be nerve wracking, followed by this incredible feeling of relief when the first couple threads are on the axle nut.

Sez the guy with the nice heated hangar and chain hoist! Key to this is a zero-wind day. I also throw a scrap of carpet under the other tire if it’s icy conditions like this. It’s worse going to skis cause it always seems to come at a colder time of year- I have to do that chore now and it was -40 yesterday. Bungees get pretty stiff. Small parts fall out of your numb fingers into the powder snow. Then the sun goes down.

Re: Whats the worst that could happen?

Those look good but I dont think it would work because the ski would get in the way of the little wheels and legs.
Not sure if they make widths to accommodate Bushwheels but I'm sure they could be modified for bigger wheels.

I was sweating out that 2x4 and c clamp setup.

Before today, I'm not sure I've ever seen a 90 second commercial that also had 45 seconds of closing credits...
