When do I know I'm ready for SPL Knowledge?

Howdy--I've read through my whole Gleim sport pilot test, got one or two wrong on the 40-question practice test, and got a 94% on a 170 question-long SPL test I made here: http://www.exams4pilots.org/

I'm still scared though--- Any advice or other websites to practice from for a nervous, first-time FAA test taker!?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are ready. Just relax and don't over think the question. They are straight forward with no "trick" questions.

You have done your homework...as you should. If you're scoring like that on the practice tests you will do just fine. Go do it.

You do have an instructors endorsement to take the exam, correct?

Yessir, I do have an enstructor's indorsement. I can't wait to finish the test, and focus all my energy on studying the real science of flying rather than a bank of questions.

Definitely sounds like you are ready to knock that step out. Don't worry if you get tripped up by a couple of oddly worded questions (I did), considering you have so much margin to pass. Trust me, it'll be nice to have the step done and over with!

Got a 90. Missed one about ATC emergency on 121.5. I knew the ELT broadcasts on 121.5 so I put 122.5 Didn't realize you could chat over an ELT.

Another I missed was that if you get a DUI you must report it to the Security Division. I put Aeromedical Division.

Dunno which other two I missed.

Cross-country next week, then solo, then license!

Well, you wouldn't really be talking through an ELT, but on the same frequency. Anybody listening on 121.5 would hear your voice transmission.
