I am looking for Cessna 175 fuel tanks, 172 LR tanks or a pair of Delicker modded tanks. I am not interested in the Javelin tanks. Any leads greatly appreciated.

There is a guy in Wa. state that put out a utube series of videos on installing the DelAir long range tanks in 170 wings. I researched quite a bit and determined it would run about $13,000 to do the conversion not including paint and any other surprises you might find. The most economical way of course would be the Javelin tank. Not a bad way to go, especially if you already have an extended baggage. I wish Landis would make a belly fuel pod for the 170. Good luck!

I would think that the Flint auxiliary tanks would be worth considering. They make them for the 170A & B, giving an additional 23 gallons usable. Look here: http://flintaero.com/kits/internal-tip-tanks/165-2/ I've thought about them for LRB, but I already have more fuel capacity than my bladder can stand. My IA has some experience installing them, says they're a quality product.

You're going to pull your wings, sell them to someone else, and buy a set of wings and install, plumb AND get the paperwork done to be legal, all for $5000????

I probly won't go that route, but did think it was a possibility. Donating a lot of the labor and buying beer for qualified assistants
