Are you sure about that location? Google Earth is showing that as "Hidden Valley Wash" and it looks ass deep in sagebrush.

Hi Dale,
Hmmm I double checked and that should put you on Bacon dry lake. Perhaps you prefer this format:
34 degrees, 59 minutes and 38 seconds
116 degrees, 10 minutes, 24 seconds.
Check out the screen shot.
Any questions, please feel free to ask!

Charlie.

That spot looks a lot more landable.

Re: 17th Annual Bacon Strip Ranch Fly-In / Camp Out

The weather is looking good so far for the 17th Annual Bacon Strip event. I'll be heading out in a few days to check everything out and get things ready. My neighbor Dave tells me the strip is in fine shape (as it usually is) but I'll have first hand intel soon.

Re: 17th Annual Bacon Strip Ranch Fly-In / Camp Out

BSR PIREP - I was just out there on Monday - the place is completely dry and the strip is in perfect shape. A new windsock was installed, the furniture wiped down, the outhouse cleaned and the tiki torches serviced. Everything is a go for the 17th Annual Fly-In and camp Out this weekend!

All pilots will receive a souvenir dog tag and refrigerator magnet. There will be a raffle Saturday night (Hawaiian shirts encouraged) with the Grand Prize a $100 Aircraft Spruce gift card.
