Hey! Sorry, just got back to florida, I've been on the road for the last few days. Would have loved to stop and chat but I was on a tight schedule and was trying my best to avoid all this nasty weather.62150B wrote:Happened to catch you on flightaware over DE. I like the SPC-909N stripper. It works really good as long as you put it on heavy the night before, you can walk into the hangar the next morning and sheets of paint will be laying on the floor (you did put a sheet of plastic on the floor right?) Whats left on there hit it with the hottsy. On planes that have had multiple coats of who knows what, you might take a couple applications of the stripper but I have not found anything that it wont take off yet.
Again, I think the key is the hot water. A normal pressure washer using cold water seems to stop the process in its tracks while the hot water just keeps on peeling it off, ESPECIALLY around the rivets. They are pretty spendy to buy, but renting one for a few days is not too bad.

Did you get the SPC-909Nstripper at a local store here in Alaska or have to order it? Thanks for the tips.
