Lance, I updated the original post with the answer-- a store will be up and running by the time it's available. Or, if we cross paths in person, cash or check is fine.

Now, to be nominated, I think one has to have a history of dragging the fam to BCP events :).

Speaking of which, how about onesies? Yep, we are adding one more to the mix. Dee will be about 6 months pregnant at the fly-in this year. We are definitely going to need a bigger plane!

Sweet! Congrats! Bring her along to JC. Maybe in the years to come we need to set up a BCP nursery during the fly-ins.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel (updated)

Just got back from meeting with the printer/embroiderer. Sounds like my designs are easy to get on the garments, so at this point all I need are the people who want the special order items: the jackets.

I don't have a final price but I'm figuring it will prob be right around $99 each for the insulated and the softshell. I fondled the soft shell at their shop and it is nice quality, made by Port Authority. See the first post in this thread for the photos.

So for those who want the jackets, PM me your order. If you're unsure about size I'll do some legwork to figure out the accuracy of the L and XL. I had him order a sample of each style jacket so I can "test" them and make sure I don't rip the seams while doing my contortions.

Thanks.

If you live near Anchorage and you want to test drive the softshell, you can probably do so at Alaska Serigraphics on Abbott Road, in front of the Home Depot. http://www.akserigraphics.com/

We get Port Authority items there for our company

Zane,
Do you deliver softshell to Oshkosh? Otherwise I might settle for one from Taco Johns but their T shirts suck.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel (updated)

Do we need any 4XL or XS?

In the past I have ordered a few 3XL, but will not get any 4XL unless somebody asks. PM me if you need something in that size.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel (updated)

Rob and I were talking today... for a few dollars more I can probably get your name embroidered on the right side of the jacket. Hey, they're special order, might as well customize.

I picked up 2 samples for the jackets today. They are nice quality. Size L has been getting a little tighter on me lately with my love for Oreos and ice cream, but these have a nice comfy fit. Review the image in the first post of this thread for the design of the embroidered logo on left breast and left shoulder. For a small additional fee I can put your name and possibly your Type/N# on the right breast and shoulder, if you feel so committed to your ship.

Remember that the jackets are special order, and I need PM's sent to me if you want one (or 10) made. A post in this thread isn't good enough. Please PM me. The shirts I will have plenty made, but these jackets are $$ so I don't wish to sit on inventory.

If you don't get in on this initial order, you can still special order embroidered stuff like these jackets later down the road, but the better pricing will be now with the large order.

So far I have: Rob Burson, Emflys, Tadpole, Once and Futr AK Flyer, and Rfinkle on my list for jackets.

The zipper-end stitches look lime green in these photos, but they are plain yellow.

Zane, it all looks cool!
After looking at your photo shoot above, I can't get "Right Said Fred" out of my head.
I'll have to fly up your way before JC to do some apparel shopping in person.

Can we get a rough price list? I can't commit until I have $$ quantified.

They look great! Can't wait!
