Ha! Tell him not to worry. I'm coming over in a Cessna. That Cub's too beat up for me anymore.

Fun flight over threading the coast range peaks at 2500 ft, but it was coming down to the ultralight altitudes when I emerged from the mountains into the river mouth. I got within 2.5 miles and viz and ceiling were just too low, definitely not legal I honked my horn and flew home, didn't feel like having to share a tent with Terry or Straightail.

Lions Club Pancake breakfast at the airport 1st Saturday of June this year and just about every year. This was Bub's big push when he was alive. Good event.

I got my 2 daughters graduation party at my house. One out of HS the other college. Then Monday off to JC, Yee Haw

Because of high wind predictions on Sunday, I decided to just make a day trip out of it. Loaded up the boat and an old high school buddy of mine. Just missed one of our BCP lurkers, Brent, from the Prosser area who had departed as we were descending. With the winds out of the south, landing downhill worked well. I was stopped by the tiedown area and had good go around potential if I needed it.

Only saw one other plane come in while we were out paddling around on the lake.

On the way back we saw a huge dust storm east of Adams. It looked like fire smoke as it filters through the trees. Turned out it was all blowing out of Hell Roaring canyon.

Nobody responded regarding stehekin and with the thunder and rain moving through, I just went to work today. Chossstrip and I are planning on hitting Waconda tomorrow (and other strips) then heading back toward toketee or powers for the night.
